Pelican Cleaners was established in 1983. We are a local company that appreciates its community. The Isle of Palms, in Charleston, SC, welcomed us as their first and only Drycleaners.
Succeeding many years as its manager, Mr. Lucas Smith, a Sullivans Island native, purchased Pelican Cleaners in 1998. He immediately insisted on providing the highest quality, and so implemented changes that vastly improved standards.
Using the most sophisticated, environmentally safe cleaning equipment, as well as new presses, Pelican Cleaners began to specialize in Quick Quality Service. The goal is to achieve availability across the entire Charleston area, including east of the Cooper River and Barrier Island communities.
